Bridging the vintage and modern eras, Seiko 5 reference 7009-3040 was produced from 1980 to 1985 in a 37mm steel case with the 7009 automatic caliber at 21,600 vph. It is set apart here by its black matte dial with applied luminous indexes. Water resistance is 30m on a stainless-steel bracelet.
